Teachers – read this!

For TeachersFor many teachers Archaeology is a bit of a mystery, yet it doesn’t have to be. Archaeology is a fascinating cross-curricular discipline, which can engage and enthrall. It will enhance your current topic work and enrich your curriculum, whatever it may be!  As well as being able to connect with many subjects, archaeology also embraces life skills such as teamwork, cooperation, communication and higher-level thinking skills

As a qualified teacher, I can bring a range of activities together to provide the experience you require for your learners.  Workshops from 1 hour to a whole day can target year groups from Key Stage 1 up to and including Further Education. All my workshops address particular curriculum objectives.  Click on the links below to find out more about what I can do at each Key Stage, or click here to read about past projects and workshops I have delivered to schools.  You can also download and print off a pdf document, information for teachers, which summarises what I do, on one side of A4.
