KS2 Roman archaeology workshop in New Brighton!

By Hartmann Linge (Own work) [Public domain], via Wikimedia CommonsWe are busy bees here at Enrichment, and today finds us in another new location – Wallasey! We’re at New Brighton Primary School with Christine Hawthorne and the children of Y4.

As it is all about the Romans, we’re going have to talk about pottery. But, not only that, the children are also going to be making their own Samian ware, which will hopefully bear more than a passing resemblance to this lovely piece here!

We’ve a full day of activities with the staff and children in full swing including those perennial favourites ‘time-line’ and stratigraphy. ¬†We’ll let you know how it all works out!
